By far the most efficient and effective reading program I have encountered. I became familiar with Phono-Graphix and used it in the early 2000's in order to help my children learn to read. I have used this program since as a literacy therapist/Speech Language Assistant in schools periodically ever since, and am now revisiting it and officially completing the certification process. As some who loves sounds and building phonological awareness skills, I continue to be in love with this program and what it stands for. It has stood the test of time as being the most effective, efficient, and engaging way to work on reading and ultimately writing skills. It is flexible and capable of helping all ranges of ages, needs, and abilities....all in one, and all in context. I can't say enough about this program, even after all of these years.

I am a parent of three children, two of which struggled tremendously breaking the code to reading, particularly my 10 year old. We tried private tutors, and a myriad of programs until Phono-Graphix was introduced by a speech and language therapist. It has been the only approach to reading that has helped our child. I have learned so many things from this program. I have 21 years of teaching experience, a K-12 Reading Endorsement through my Master's Degree and am Reading Recovery trained; however, I have learned so much about helping the at-risk reader (and all readers for that matter) understand how our language works in a matter-of-fact, hand-on way. My daughter had struggled in first grade and her school used this program with her. Within weeks she was caught up with everyone else, since she had changed schools and the expectations were much higher. The kids enjoy the activities, mastery becomes apparent and it is wonderful to see them use what they have learned in their reading. I found the examples in the training very helpful and am almost sorry it is over. What is not over is using Phono-Graphix as an intervention to the readers in our school who need to accelerate to reach the levels of their peers...I can see myself using this for many years to come! Thanks for thinking outside the box and providing materials for those kids who need a different way of learning!

Phono-Graphix has helped our struggling readers tremendously this school year. We have had more growth with the pre and post diagnostic tests and STAR Early Literacy and Reading assessments than in past years when we used other phonics programs. I now fully understand that Phono-Graphix is not a program, it is a reading method. I would recommend it to any Reading Specialist, ELL teacher, or Special Education teacher. It is a very useful and effective tool to help students who struggle with reading.

I really enjoyed this course. It made me think differently about the fundamental skills of reading. I especially enjoyed the different approaches in helping students decode words. The English language is a challenging language with a bunch of rules that don't always apply. This allowed my students to attack words in a more productive way!

I have been teaching reading since 1979 when I received my M.Ed. from Lesley University. Over the years, I have been trained in Orton-Gillingham, Wilson and Project Read. This is without a doubt the best reading program I have ever used. It moves quickly, enabling the students to build a base of letter/sound knowledge much faster than the other programs and does not require the memorization of terms or phonics rules. I highly recommend it!

Thank you for the creation of a phonics curriculum that a teacher can use!! I have been teaching for 30 years, and there is not any curriculum on the market that is as thorough as Phono-Graphix. Also, the sequence that you present each skill is correct! Thank you for helping our young children learn how to read!!

My friend's daughter is finishing up 1st grade right now. The school's teachers, specialists, and her mother have been working with her since the beginning of 1st grade. In March, her mom talked to me about how they'd hit a brick wall. The mother was desperate. There had been little to no progress since the beginning of the year. I asked her mother if I could take a shot at it. I was just starting my PG course, and I offered the lessons for free. Her daughter was evaluated by the school in March and labeled LD. Immediately after, I starting working with her. After seven sessions, the school's reading specialist sent the mother an email in April expressing her surprise at the child's progress. She was already nearly reading at grade level. Her mother is now a paying customer of mine through the end of summer. :) And the little girl is soooo proud of herself. It was a truly sweet moment to listen to the child tell me about her school tutor's comments.

This course is fantastic for anyone teaching reading. It brings the task back to basics, it cuts out all the complexities of spelling rules, long and short vowels, etc. etc., and gets straight to the task. Really worthwhile! Not only do I as a tutor find this beneficial, my most difficult reluctant readers are really progressing due to Phono-Graphix.

This has been an excellent course. I have learnt so much and have used so many of the techniques with my students.

This training has completely transformed my work with students with dyslexia. My teaching is more effective and planning for sessions is so much easier now that I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel. Thank you so much for offering this coarse and helping me along the way.
