Phono-Graphix for Parents

Over 100,000 children have learned to read with the Phono-Graphix Reading Method!

Phono-Graphix is taught in schools, homes, educational and pediatric clinics, and used by reading therapists throughout the English speaking world.

A Phono-Graphix professional can turn your child's life around!

Our independent member therapists have completed all requirements for Phono-Graphix certification under the direction of a licensed Phono-Graphix trainer and are members of our international network of Phono-Graphix trained teachers. While remediation time and reading gains vary from child to child, certified Phono-Graphix practitioners are trained to achieve the same remarkable results as published in the clinical study of Phono-Graphix in the Orton Annals of Dyslexia. This study included 87 children age six to sixteen, 44% of whom were previously diagnosed as learning disabled. In a twelve hour remedial course, 98% of the children reached grade level reading.

About the Phono-Graphix Reading Method

What do parents say about Phono-Graphix?

"My son and I attended for the one week intensive program. It was well worth it! My son is 7 and was a very discouraged little boy when it came to reading and eventually all of school. He has struggled with reading and recently was diagnosed LD. We just followed [the instructor's] lead and he was making progress after the first day... the results are amazing! He is smiling and laughing while reading stories to me and not crying anymore!!"

"I am very happy that I was able to take this certification curriculum. I learned so much about myself and the written language. I would recommend that when possible, you use actual students to complete your online assignments. I found that I learned much more when I worked with students rather than adults. Kids have a way of coming up with questions and ideas that adults don't even think about. They are very creative and full of insight. I learned more about errors and error correction when working with students than when teaching a lesson to an adult. I was fortunate to be able to study and learn this curriculum as my youngest child was just diagnosed with dyslexia. This curriculum has helped me understand how my chid is processing words and how I can help them. It was nice to have a child at home who could help me with my homework. It was a great way to get them to practice decoding without feeling like they were doing homework. I can see the progress their reading already. I can't wait to be able to apply what I have learned to future reading groups."

"As a parent, I wanted to thank you for creating such an affordable and fantastic book to teach reading. I purchased the book based on a recommendation during a training. My son, was in first grade, and he had not progressed in reading. It was becoming frustration and overwhelming. Once I started the program with him, last summer, he has made significant progress with his reading, despite his several disabilities. Among his diagnosis is oral-motor dyspraxia, ADHA, and dyslexia. He had made so much progress in the one summer, that I forced the school to continue using the program with him during the school year. The school had started him with Orton-gillingham, however, it was so language intensive, he was getting overwhelmed and confused. This program is so simple and direct that it can help any child. So, as a parent, thank you! As an educator, I hope to eventually convince my school district to pay for me to get the certification in the program."

"Our 8 year old nephew was having difficulties with reading. After reading such positive feedback regarding Phono-Graphix, our family decided to travel from Virginia to attend the one week Intensive course. He is making great progress with his reading. [Our Instructor] has made a difference not only with providing him with valuable tools to assist in his reading but teaching us (Aunt, Mom and Grandmom) how to continue further training."
